TWNIC Community Grants 2026 Online Briefing Session – September 11

The Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) has long been dedicated to promoting Taiwan's internet infrastructure and network governance. Through the "TWNIC Community Grants,” TWNIC supports technical communities, academic institutions, civil society organizations, and enterprises in turning forward-looking research and technical solutions into practical applications.

To help interested applicants gain a deeper understanding of the program scope and application guidelines, TWNIC will hold an online briefing session on September 11. The program team will explain key call-for-proposals priorities, funding mechanisms, and the online application process to help clarify any questions. Partners from all sectors are cordially invited to register and attend.

About the "TWNIC Community Grants 2026”

The call for proposals for the "TWNIC Community Grants 2026” officially launched on June 30 and will remain open until September 30. This year's program continues to focus on three key themes:

• Internet Policy Research: Conduct an in-depth exploration of current Internet policies or Internet governance policies, and propose necessary modifications and improvement recommendations to facilitate a more comprehensive and secure policy-making process for the Internet.
• Internet Technology: Conduct research and development on current network technologies to enhance the convenience, ubiquity, or sustainability of network technology and security, thereby improving internet operational safety and promoting the widespread application of network services.
• Digital Equality and Opportunity: Propose improvement plans that address the current digital divide in remote areas or among disadvantaged groups, aimed at increasing their digital resources and capabilities.

• Funding Amount: Up to NT$1.5 million per project
